Life in Jupiter

The Jupiter Campus, in the Town of Jupiter, is central to all the happenings within the Palm Beach community. Jupiter is laced with bike and walking paths and dotted with tennis courts and golf courses. Nothing is too far away from campus!

There are many opportunities to go off campus and do fun things. Enjoy outdoor activities on the beach or other activities at John D. MacArthur Park like hiking, kayaking and paddle boarding. The nearest beach to the college is Juno Beach. Fish on its beautiful pier and visit the Loggerhead Marinelife Center.

The campus is situated next to Abacoa Town Center. The Abacoa Town Center offers a traditional "Main Street" setting with specialty stores, restaurants, coffee shops, an art gallery and much more. The Abacoa Greenway, adjacent to campus, is an ideal location for trail runs or hikes. Abacoa is also home to Roger Dean Stadium, the spring training headquarters for the Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals, as well as the home of the Jupiter Hammerheads minor league baseball team.

Just ten miles away is downtown West Palm Beach, home to the Norton Museum of Art, the Kravis CenterCityPlace and the Flagler Museum. The Cruzan Amphitheater plays host to a variety of Rock and Alternative concerts and music festivals. On Thursday evenings, visit Clematis Street where local vendors sell art and food while live bands play a variety of music and people literally dance in the streets.

There are also plenty of professional sports in the area to watch, including Major League Baseball's Miami Marlins, the NBA Champion Miami Heat, the NFL's Miami Dolphins and auto racing at both Palm Beach International Raceway and Homestead Miami Speedway.
