FAU Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium

Please join us in congratulating these deserving biology students and their research advisors!!!

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Inquiry (OURI) serves as a centralized support office for students and faculty who are engaged in undergraduate research and inquiry. OURI hosts an annual event to highlight the exciting research being done by undergraduates at FAU. Each year students present their research findings either through a poster presentation or an oral presentation.

The Department of Biological Sciences was well-represented at the OURI undergraduate research symposium that took place on March 31st. Students presented 130 research projects. Congratulations to the students in the Biology Department and Honors Thesis program in Biology that received awards for their poster and oral presentations in their respective categories. These results would not have been possible without the work of our great Teaching Assistants Chelsea Bennice, Joan Lora and Jordan Merritt, faculty and graduate students who advise these students.
