Emily Turla is a graduate student pursuing her doctorate as well as the Laboratory Coordinator for the FAU Marine Laboratory. At the marine lab, Emily is in charge of day to day tasks and assisting with various research projects. Emily is interested in studying the nest quality of leatherbacks over time by analyzing nest contents. When Emily is not at the lab, she can be found tending to her butterfly garden, houseplants, and pets. She also enjoys listening to true crime podcasts and driving with the top down in her jeep.
