Undergraduate SEA Scholar

Natalie Hess was a part of the SEA Scholar program in Dr. Wyneken’s lab, where she has gained valuable experience as a directed independent research (DIR) student assisting with research in sex ratios, caring for green and loggerhead sea turtles, and managing data. Natalie received her bachelor’s in biology and wants to continue research in marine science for her master’s. The lab has given Natalie the opportunity to explore her passions for conservation biology and wildlife. When not in the lab, Natalie enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and camping, attending concerts, traveling to new places, and most of all, spending time with her dog.
