The Department of Biological Sciences is pleased to congratulate senior Jared Foster on his recent May graduation, and his acceptance into the prestigious University of Florida College of Pharmacy program.
“FAU has given me the tools to embark on this new journey,” said Foster. “I am confident that the quality education I received at FAU will successfully propel me through pharmacy school.”
Foster transferred to FAU from Palm Beach State College to enter the college’s pre-medical school program and finish the last two years of his biological sciences degree. He credits his family – who all work in health professions – with providing guidance and motivation to complete his degree.
This summer, Foster hopes to enjoy a break from studying before starting his new academic journey.
His advice to current students is “to work really hard for what you want in life,” he said. “It’s a cliché, but you if work hard, you will get there.”
