The Biological Sciences Department well-represented the College of Science at this year's College of Science Expeditions in the Explore FAU event. This open house event showcases the areas of study and different colleges that FAU has to offer for interested, local high school students. The Biological Sciences Department highlighted the numerous degree programs and research opportunities available to students. Many faculty, staff, and students volunteered to help make this event a success. High school students had the opportunity to see engaging and interactive presentations of laboratory research projects and equipment as well as speak with faculty members and current students about their experience at FAU. The Biology Department would like to thank all of our faculty, staff, and students that volunteered their time to help promote our programs to prospective high school students.
