Alex Hoey is a graduate student pursuing her Master of Science degree researching the effects of environmental stress on seagrass health and survival in the Aquatic Plant Ecology lab under Dr. Marguerite Koch. When Alex is away from the lab, she enjoys birding, playing with her cats, walking, swimming, and knitting.
