Elle is an undergraduate student in Marine Biology at FAU’s Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College in Jupiter. As a Glenn W. & Cornelia T. Bailey Marine SEA Scholar, she is excited to use her talents in photography and digital media to communicate our lab’s research endeavors across our in-person events and virtual platforms. When she is educating in the marine lab’s visitors’ gallery, Elle impresses upon our guests just how important sea turtles are to ecosystems and the actions they can take to help protect these animals. With her previous experience in shark biology under Dr. Stephen Kajiura’s direction, Elle looks forward to gaining new skills in research during her work with sea turtles. In her free time, Elle enjoys reading, cooking, photography, snorkeling, and playing tennis.
