Dr. Sarah Milton Featured in National Geographic Kids Magazine

Milton Dr. Sarah Milton, Associate Professor and Integrative Biology Program Associate Director, and Karen Pankaew have been featured in the September 2018 issue of National Geographic Kids magazine. The one-page feature describes their work researching the physiology and swim performance of loggerhead and green sea turtle hatchlings. The article explains the experiment in an easy to understand format for kids. Recently, Pankaew and Milton published this work in the Journal of Experimental Biology in an article entitled "The effects of extended crawling on the physiology and swim performance of loggerhead and green sea turtle hatchlings."
