It is each applicant's responsibility to identify potential faculty advisors prior to applying to the program. Students may view lists of Graduate Program Faculty members. Prospective students should use these lists to identify potential faculty of interest based on area of research emphasis and reach out to them directly via email regarding the possibility of joining their working groups.
Please carefully review the guidelines and regulations associated with your program(s) of interest for specific policies related to selection of faculty advisors and committee membership. Some of our graduate programs and program concentrations require that students solidify a mentor-mentee relationship with a faculty advisor as a condition of acceptance. Others encourage rotations through multiple laboratories prior to the formal selection of a faculty advisor. Details for each program may be found in the Forms & Policies. Applicants may apply to more than one program during the same application cycle, however, in order to be considered for admission, applicants must ensure that they are following the policies associated with each program of interest when submitting each application.
Applicants may direct general questions about applications, program structure and policies to the appropriate program coordinator(s)/assistant(s).
