Danielle Gomez is an undergraduate student studying biology with a background in shark kinematics under Dr. Porter. They joined the Glenn W. and Cornelia T. Bailey Marine SEA Scholars program in the Spring of 2026 with hopes of learning more about marine species and sharing that knowledge with the community. In their career, they hope to learn more about a diverse set of marine species, including but not limited to sharks, manta rays, manatees, and corals. After they graduate, Danielle hopes to pursue a Master's degree in marine sciences and oceanography.
