Doctoral Graduate Student
Jamie Knaub is a graduate student pursuing her doctorate in the Florida Atlantic Biomechanics Lab (FAB). During her doctoral research, Jamie is studying marine mammal biology, swimming biomechanics, and cetacean osteology. Jamie is currently researching the variation in the mineral architecture of shark vertebrae and hopes to examine the structure of cetacean vertebral bone in the future. When Jamie is not at the lab, she can be found running, biking, SCUBA diving, hanging out with friends, or her cat, Bojangles.
