Jonathan is a graduate student pursuing a Masters degree in Integrative Biology under Dr. Jeanette Wyneken. He joined the Glenn W. and Cornelia T. Bailey Marine SEA Scholars program in the Summer of 2025 to gain experience in a lab environment and work closely with the ocean and marine life. Driven by a passion for marine science, Jonathan is excited to share his experience with the public. He hopes to inspire visitors to appreciate Florida’s coastal biodiversity, especially regarding sea turtles. After Jonathan graduates, he plans to further his education in biological sciences with a focus on marine biology. Outside the Marine Lab, he enjoys learning about local flora and fauna, looking after his pets, and playing video games.
