She assisted with research on behavioral enrichment for captive sea turtles under Dr. Sarah Milton and contributed to photo identification and behavioral data management of Atlantic spotted dolphins at the Wild Dolphin Project. Juliana also conducted undergraduate research analyzing gut contents of Agama and Curly-tailed lizards during an FAU ECOS-sponsored internship at the Florida Oceanographic Society. Currently, she serves as vice president of the FAU Sustainability club and works as a veterinary assistant in Delray Beach. She joined the Glenn W. and Cornelia T. Bailey Marine SEA Scholars program in the Spring of 2026 with a passion for public education and outreach that promotes marine conservation awareness. After she graduates, Juliana plans to attend Veterinary School to become a marine animal veterinarian. Outside the Marine Lab, Juliana can be found surfing or at the gym. |
