Kristan Reynolds

Kristan Reynolds is a master's student in the communication studies program where she plans to pursue a professional project focused on environmental communication through multimedia components. This past summer, Kristan was an intern for The Invading Sea, a climate change news website managed by FAU's Center for Environmental Studies. Through her experience, she wrote more than 10 articles and pursued various journalistic projects related to environmental education and conservation. Kristan joined the Glenn W. and Cornelia T. Bailey Marine SEA Scholars program to share vital research about marine species with the public in a unique, engaging, and memorable way. She also hopes to spread knowledge on the proper care and protection of imperiled species, so Marine Lab visitors can educate others in their community. Kristan brings expertise in science writing for broad audiences as well as expertise in diverse communication methods. After she graduates, Kristan’s goal is to pursue a career in environmental communication. When not in the lab, you can find Kristan playing video games, hanging out with her cat, or snorkeling.
