Maggie Dalby is an undergraduate student studying biology and a Directed Independent Research student in the Invertebrate Lab under Dr. Randy Brooks and Dr. Chelsea Bennice. Fueled by a love for sea life and a dream of pursuing a career in marine biology, she joined the Glenn W. and Cornelia T. Bailey Marine SEA Scholars program in the Spring of 2026. Maggie leads visitor interactions with respect and insight, hoping that visitors will leave with an appreciation and curiosity for marine life and its conservation efforts. After she graduates, Maggie hopes to pursue a Masters and PhD in marine research or conservation in Florida. Outside the Marine Lab, Maggie can be found at the beach, at car shows, riding her dirt bike, or hanging out with friends.
