Miranda Manross

Miranda Manross is a graduate student studying in biology. She joined the Glenn W. and Cornelia T. Bailey Marine SEA Scholars program in the summer of 2026 to inform the public about the impacts of rising temperatures on coral reefs and sea turtles. Miranda hopes to inspire others to act and protect the oceans through her education and outreach efforts. Her current research focuses on octopus behavior, and often she can be found underwater conducting fieldwork. After graduating, Miranda plans to pursue a doctoral degree in Integrative Biology. Outside the lab she can be found painting, birding, and spending time with her cats at home.
