Master’s Student
Sarah Ahson McCardell, is a first year master's student at FAU, working under Dr. Sarah Milton in the Comparative Animal and Marine Physiology Lab. Previously, she attended Sweet Briar College and the University of Lynchburg where she earned a Bachelor of Science in biology. Her current research focuses on using environmental enrichment in captive sea turtle populations to reduce their stress levels and improve health and quality of life for long term residents. Sarah has a passion for animals as demonstrated by her three dogs and research interest in sea turtles.
