Victoria Garefino is an alumna of Dr. Milton’s lab. Victoria investigated the effects of UV light on vitamin D levels and immune function in green sea turtles with a disease called fibropapillomatosis. Victoria is currently working as a veterinary technician in the Delray area and as a Sea Turtle Rehab Intern at Gumbo Limbo. When Victoria’s not at the lab, she can be found at the beach snorkeling, riding horses, or painting glassware for her Etsy business.
